Canal Cruise in Amsterdam

We booked a breakfast Canal cruise in Amsterdam to see the city. It was wonderful. We heard a lot about the history, the hooks they have on buildings to hoist furniture up to the top floors. However, the best part was while waiting for a restaurant to deliver croissants to the boat, Mike spotted a great crested grebe that popped up next to the boat,and screamed “there’s the bird.”  It was the one bird we had to see on this trip.
